This recall involves Orion-X Baseboard Heater by Global Commander Canada ULC. The affected heater is rectangular and available in white.

Hazard Identified

The design allows access to electric wires without having to use a tool, potential for electric shock

Neither Global Commander Canada ULC. nor Health Canada has received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these affected heaters.
Corrective Action

Consumers should immediately stop using the affected heater and contact Global Commander Canada ULC. for instructions on how to obtain a corrective kit. The unit must be modified to ensure the use of a tool will be necessary to access the junction box. A warning label and a washer to retain the ground wire must also be supplied.
