The unit is a convection heater with thermostat, and contains two heat settings. Hazard Identified This voluntary recall has been initiated as a precautionary measure due to overheating of the internal circuitry in some units. Canadian Tire has received 11 reports of units overheating. There have been no reported incidents of injury. Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these baseboard heaters. Corrective Action Consumers should immediately stop using the Garrison 1500W low profile baseboard heater and return the affected product to any Canadian Tire retail store for a refund.
